Welcome to the Freiburg Infrared Colloquium 2019

Save the date: March 19 – 20, 2019
The scientific workshop on materials, physics, technology and applications of infrared lasers and detectors.

Freiburg Infrared Colloquium 2019

Infrared laser and detector technology is key for the development of high-performance systems for defense, security and space applications.

In addition to those traditional fields, the role of infrared lasers and detectors in areas like medical diagnostics, gas analysis, spectroscopy as well as material processing and testing is growing rapidly.

The Freiburg Infrared Colloquium brings together scientists, development engineers and users of infrared lasers and detectors. Topics cover physics and material science of infrared components as well as device fabrication and system aspects. To foster a lively exchange during the workshop, a poster session is scheduled for the first afternoon.
